There is always an excitement about the next meeting or our next trip together.

You would often find yourself noticing things like gust of wind passing through your ears or the beauty of sunshine filtering through branches.

When with your loved one, the time will stop. You would be in that moment, without any baggage from the past or anticipation of the future.

You would again start writing poetry, and rhymes would automatically start coming out, exactly like how it used to be in childhood.

Small joys would mean everything. Holding her hand would be like getting your favorite candy. Kissing her would be like watching your favorite cartoon serial : unbridled joy. 

You will often create your own worlds, with just you and her, and the rest acting like props, akin to daydreams in childhood where you would imagine being the President of the country.

Every decision would seem so easy, you'll become bold again. Anything that is good for her and which shows your love to her HAS to be done.

There would be just one thing that matters to you the most in the world, she. Similar to how your one best friend meant to you when you were in the school.

For me, love is like a safety blanket. I'm secure in the fact that I am loved and that I have a partner with whom I can face the world and take on all things. It's also uplifting. Like, I sometimes find myself amazed that I can love someone as much as I love my guy. It's a truly incredible feeling, and I think I've only scratched the surface in describing it.

It's beautiful. It's liberating. It's bliss...

Describing the feeling of being in love

Describing the feeling of being in love is at least easier than describing than what love is. But just like no two loves are similar, neither can be the feeling of being in love. Here's my attempt at a ahem, creatively written description:

For some, it grows and ebbs like the tide ; while for others it comes in like a storm, leaving only destruction in the wake. It could warm you in its embrace or burn you with its bitterness.

For some, it is when they lie next to someone and brush the hair falling on their lover's face, they come to the realization that they are in that moment, smitten.

For someone else, it is weakness and vulnerability and telling what couldn't be told. 

It could be a knock on your door, a speeding of your heart, a desire to give all. 

It could be feeling vulnerable, feeling naked, actually being naked. 

It could be like a song on repeat or a shuffling till you get what you ever want.

It could be scary-exciting like a thunderstorm or sticky and overbearing like the feeling after a humid rain shower.

It is holding on, when all has been lost. 

Falling in love is sneaky. Suddenly, you have what the whole world wants. 

It is like having the world in your arms and still feeling that you never have everything you want.

It is when you say someone's name,you have power. And when they say your name, your name has never been said like that.

It is to dream and want and be restless and craving and anxious and to check your phone all too often and get angry that the world around you is the way it wasn't anymore.

It's tough to sleep because you are thinking. It's tough to work, because even if you are not with your lover, your being constantly embraces the desire for togetherness.

Falling in love is a 1000 secret sensations, none wise, that drive you wild.

It is foolish optimism and dangerous over confidence. 

That is what the feeling of being love is. It's the highest high.

Love is a beautiful feeling

Love, is a beautiful feeling. It’s probably like having your best friend around you all the time for the rest of your life. It’s the ease with which you raise your kids along with your friend and decades later still keep picking on each other. Its knowing full well the best and the worst side of each other and loving both of them equally. And such romantic picturisations can be plenty. But I guess it’s essentially about the comfort we as humans feel in the company of our partners.

You wake up every morning and you feel like everything is right in the world. You spill coffee on your white shirt and you feel like everything is right in the world. You late for work and you still feel like everything is right in the world.

You will feel happy. Happy in the strongest sense of the word. It's like nothing could ever go wrong. You feel alive and you wonder how you have ever lived before you've met this person who makes everything right. You are just thankful for every single day and you can't wait until you see him/her. It is the best feeling.

You keep on staring at the clock, hoping the hands will move a little faster. 

You keep on looking at the calendar. After every four days, you cut one date on it.

You stare at your phone, hoping that a message from him would appear.

You wait for night, the only time you know you'll be able to talk to him.

You visit a beautiful place and you wish he were there and he could see it too.

You make things for him and imagine his look upon seeing them.

And everyday, you just wait for the day you'll meet him.

That's how it feels to be in love when he stays in a different city than yours.

In spite of all the distance and waiting, you go to bed with a smile and you wake up with a smile. You know you've met someone who can make you happy just by saying your name. This is how I feel being in love.

Love is such a powerful emotion

Love is such a powerful emotion and the combination of so many different feelings and circumstances that it can be difficult to boil it down to just one single word.

No one has ever loved someone as much as I love you so no one has ever had to make words for such a strong feeling of love.

Every leaf on the tree seems like a flower. I start seeing beauty in everything around. Happiness is seeing their lovely smile. I  laugh like an idiot, thinking of them until my friends hit on my head and bring me back to reality. I discovered the unknown poet, artist, singer in self. Oxygen loses it's value, when I tell " I live for you". I imagine heartbeat rhythmically chanting your name. The feeling is being in love....

Think of something that makes you feel wonder and delight and awe.That without fail puts a smile on your face. Like spotting a rainbow, a proper night sky full of stars, the deep sense of calm when looking at beautiful art. Think of a piece of music that uplifts your spirit, that touches you like a lovely sunny day that puts a spring in your step.

Feeling like everything is right in the world for no reason other than a wonderful person that i love loves me. 

It's irrational. Nothing else has changed, you're paid the same, you live in the same place and are doing the same things. But all of a sudden you are worthy/special and so everything you do, think, feel, or say seems blessed.
